Equipment analysis sheet (A02)
This was a microphone stand that we was researching. This was the best one out of the three i found. It was slick with fluid head movement and effective panning. Also the head was smooth and easy to remove but at the same time was very good at securing the camera at the top. Friday, 5 November 2010
Equipment analysis sheet (A02)

This was the recording camera i picked out of the three i searched up. It was the best one as it had a quality camera for recording with external features like it's HD. Also it was a canon camera so it was guaranteed to be a good device. It comes with it's own microphone so people can be heard when their speaking whilst it's recording. The only weaknesses was that it's fragile and expensive.
Equipment analysis sheet (A02)

This was a small video recorder that i was searching up. It was the most reasonable out of the three i was researching as it was small and portable. It had a lens cover to keep the screen safe and also it has a touch screen with internal memory. Furthermore its cheap and because it's Sony so it should be quality.

Using canon camera with external microphone - exterior
Advantages: the advantages of this is that the external mic can pick up the specific sound so the background sounds wont be picked up.
Disadvantages: it is not very portable like the flip camera as you have to carry out the equipment
Microphone research (A02)
Advantages: the advantages of the flip camera is that it has a built in microphone so it will pick up a better sound than a normal recorder. also it is very portable so anyone can be interviewed on the spot.
Disadvantages: it doesn't have directional sound so it can still pick up background sound from other things and also the lights may distract with the vision of flip camera.
microphone techniques - flip camera - exterior
Advantages: the advantages of using the flip camera outside was that the it was very clear and everything could be seen also there is no need for a external mic and it is very portable to use.
Disadvantages: an external microphone is needed to pick up better sound as the camera is small even though it has a built-in microphone. furthermore it may pick up other sounds like weather conditions.

Lighting blog (A02)
this video is demonstrating high ket lighting where the light is shown all over the scene.
this is shown in shows like high school musical and other kids films for the audience to see everything.
Lighting blog (A02)
This is an example of low key lighting where the light is shined underneath the person. This creates a focus on the persons face making it look like they have power or their up to something.
lighting blog (A02)
This is an example of top lighting where the light is shown above the person in the video. This creates an effect that the person is in the spotlight and their on their own. It shadows out everyone else and focuses on the main person it's shining on.
Lighting blog (A02)
This is an example of back lighting where the light is shined directly behind the person to create a shadow effect. This effect creates a mysterious image for the person in the video, allowing tension and uncertainty. This is good with horror films to allow suspense.

Peaky's logo
This is our "peakys" logo for our trainers. It will be used in our advert on the trainer as the person is playing basketball. The mountain in the background is there to represent the peak bit of it, showing that being at the top is the best.
